Gerge Peabody Medal

The George Peabody Medal is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to music in America. Present since 1980 by the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, the medal has gone to such luminaries as Eubie Blake, Leonard Bernstein, Isaac Stern and Philip Glass.
