While Los Angeles trails New York as America’s fashion capital, it is catching up in a hurry. The LA fashion community continues to grow and thrive and the Los Angeles Fashion Awards was created to honor that community. The awards, established in 2005, honor designers, retailers, editors, manufacturers and stylists.
The awards were established by Mary Hill and Jennifer Űner with the help founding sponsor Moss Adams, LLP. The nominees and winners are selected by a committee of nearly thirty editors, stylists, retailers, designers, educators and other market makers expert in the LA fashion scene.
